   I picked up Ambassador for Men (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Mango with Black Pepper, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Apple alongside Green mandarin orange, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Ambassador for Men for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Mango with Black Pepper comes forward — smooth and well done. The first minutes are all about Apple with a hint of Green mandarin orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Ambassador for Men (2019) and I wasn’t prepared for it. As it settles, Amber and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Apple alongside Green mandarin orange, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I wanted to like it more than I did.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
