   A friend passed me a decant of Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Peach and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I picked up Dahlia Noir Eau de Toilette (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
