   A friend passed me a decant of Eaudemoiselle (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The drydown leans on Musk plus Ambrette (Musk Mallow) and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Amalfi Lemon/Basil impression that dries down smoothly. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Eaudemoiselle on and off for a few weeks now (2010). That first spray gives a lovely Amalfi Lemon/Basil impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Musk and Ambrette (Musk Mallow) come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   My first Givenchy experience was this one, Eaudemoiselle (2010). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tincture of Rose with Ylang-Ylang, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Tincture of Rose and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   Picked up a sample of Eaudemoiselle after reading the community buzz (2010). The opening is built around Amalfi Lemon and Basil — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Amalfi Lemon with Basil peeking through, very much my kind of start. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   My first Givenchy experience was this one, Eaudemoiselle (2010). Right away I get mostly Amalfi Lemon alongside Basil, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Amalfi Lemon and Basil — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The composition is well made but not for me.

The heart is the best part for me: Tincture of Rose and Ylang-Ylang feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
