   For a 1970 release, Givenchy III deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Hiacynth and Orris Root feel carefully balanced. As it settles, Oakmoss and Vetiver come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Picked up a sample of Givenchy III after reading the community buzz (1970). As it settles, Oakmoss and Vetiver come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I picked up Givenchy III (1970) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Oakmoss and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The first minutes are all about Galbanum with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   A friend passed me a decant of Givenchy III (1970) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Hiacynth and Orris Root feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Galbanum/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
