   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about L’Interdit Eau de Toilette. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Poppy — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   A decant of L’Interdit Eau de Toilette sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Poppy — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

Give it a little time and Tuberose with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Orange Blossom feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I picked up L’Interdit Eau de Toilette (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Vetiver and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Poppy, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up L’Interdit Eau de Toilette (2019) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Poppy impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Poppy, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Everyone keeps talking about L’Interdit Eau de Toilette, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Vetiver plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Poppy, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
