   My first Givenchy experience was this one, Organza Indécence (1999). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ceylon Cinnamon with Plum, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   Picked up a sample of Organza Indécence after reading the community buzz (1999). That first spray gives a lovely Brazilian Rosewood/Patchouli impression that dries down smoothly. As it settles, Vanilla and Amber come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I keep reaching for Organza Indécence more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ceylon Cinnamon with Plum, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

    Everyone keeps talking about Organza Indécence, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Brazilian Rosewood with Patchouli peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Brazilian Rosewood alongside Patchouli, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.
