   I keep reaching for Play For Her more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Peach impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A couple of wears in, Play For Her has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Orchid with Tiare Flower comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Orchid and Tiare Flower feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   I picked up Play For Her (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Peach, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first Givenchy experience was this one, Play For Her (2010). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid with Tiare Flower, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Tonka Bean and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The very first sniff is crisp Pink Pepper with Peach peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
