   Everyone keeps talking about Very Irresistible, so I finally gave it a proper test. Give it a little time and Rose with Peony comes forward — smooth and well done. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I keep reaching for Very Irresistible more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Taif Rose plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Cassia alongside Lemon Verbena, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Givenchy knows how to compose, and Very Irresistible (2003) is proof. As it settles, Taif Rose and Musk come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Taif Rose plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Very Irresistible more than I expected to. The heart is the best part for me: Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Taif Rose and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The base rests on Taif Rose and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
