   Goutal knows how to compose, and Le Chevrefeuille (2002) is proof. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honeysuckle with Lemon, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Honeysuckle and Lemon feel carefully balanced. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A couple of wears in, Le Chevrefeuille has really grown on me. Give it a little time and Honeysuckle with Lemon comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Honeysuckle with Lemon, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
