   My first Goutal experience was this one, Ninfeo Mio (2010). The first minutes are all about Citron with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Fig Leaf and Mastic or Lentisque feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I keep reaching for Ninfeo Mio more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The opening is built around Citron and Amalfi Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

The first minutes are all about Citron with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Ninfeo Mio for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The drydown leans on Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The heart is the best part for me: Fig Leaf and Mastic or Lentisque feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   I’ve been wearing Ninfeo Mio on and off for a few weeks now (2010). That first spray gives a lovely Citron/Amalfi Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Citron alongside Amalfi Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.

I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The very first sniff is crisp Citron with Amalfi Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

The heart is the best part for me: Fig Leaf and Mastic or Lentisque feel carefully balanced. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
