   A couple of wears in, Esplendor has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Freesia alongside Lily, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Freesia and Lily — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A decant of Esplendor sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. That first spray gives a lovely Freesia/Lily impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Amber plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A decant of Esplendor sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Amber and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Benzoin with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Esplendor. The drydown leans on Amber plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Benzoin with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
