   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Envy. As it settles, Oakmoss and Jasmine come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Freesia — it grabs attention without being pushy. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Envy, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Hiacynth, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Freesia impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Envy more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Freesia peeking through, very much my kind of start. The base rests on Oakmoss and Jasmine — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Hiacynth, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Bergamot with a hint of Freesia — it grabs attention without being pushy. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
