   My first Gucci experience was this one, Flora by Gucci Glorious Mandarin (2012). Give it a little time and Jasmine with Piña Colada comes forward — smooth and well done. As it settles, Musk and Woodsy Notes come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   My first Gucci experience was this one, Flora by Gucci Glorious Mandarin (2012). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Jasmine with Piña Colada, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Piña Colada feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   My first Gucci experience was this one, Flora by Gucci Glorious Mandarin (2012). The very first sniff is crisp Mandarin Orange with Peony peeking through, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Mandarin Orange alongside Peony, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Everyone keeps talking about Flora by Gucci Glorious Mandarin, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Musk and Woodsy Notes come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2012 release, Flora by Gucci Glorious Mandarin deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Mandarin Orange with a hint of Peony — it grabs attention without being pushy. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I wanted to like it more than I did.
