   Picked up a sample of Gucci Accenti after reading the community buzz (1995). The first minutes are all about Tangerine with a hint of Artemisia — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Gucci Accenti (1995) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Tangerine/Artemisia impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Tangerine alongside Artemisia, fresh and very easy to wear. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

   My first Gucci experience was this one, Gucci Accenti (1995). Give it a little time and Rose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Tangerine/Artemisia impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Gucci Accenti. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Rose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Peach and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Everyone keeps talking about Gucci Accenti, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Peach and Tonka Bean come through and give it real depth. Give it a little time and Rose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   For a 1995 release, Gucci Accenti deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Rose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Tangerine/Artemisia impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
