   My first Guerlain experience was this one, Cherry Oud (2022). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Turkish Rose with Bulgarian Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on Agarwood (Oud) plus Leather and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I’ve been wearing Cherry Oud on and off for a few weeks now (2022). The first minutes are all about Cherry with a hint of Fruity Notes — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of Cherry Oud sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The very first sniff is crisp Cherry with Fruity Notes peeking through, very much my kind of start. The heart is the best part for me: Turkish Rose and Bulgarian Rose feel carefully balanced. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up Cherry Oud (2022) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Give it a little time and Turkish Rose with Bulgarian Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Agarwood (Oud) and Leather — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
