   A friend passed me a decant of Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin (2008) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Dark Chocolate and Cacao feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Dark Chocolate with Cacao comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
