   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about French Kiss. That first spray gives a lovely Raspberry/Litchi impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Heliotrope plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2014 release, French Kiss deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. As it settles, Heliotrope and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about French Kiss, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Violet with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   A couple of wears in, French Kiss has really grown on me. The base rests on Heliotrope and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Violet and Rose feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   I picked up French Kiss (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Raspberry alongside Litchi, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Raspberry with a hint of Litchi — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
