   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Habit Rouge L’Eau. The heart is the best part for me: Bitter Orange and Vanille feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Bitter Orange with Vanille comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Habit Rouge L’Eau on and off for a few weeks now (2011). The heart is the best part for me: Bitter Orange and Vanille feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bitter Orange with Vanille, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
