   I keep reaching for Heritage Eau de Toilette more than I expected to. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Aldehydes peeking through, very much my kind of start. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I picked up Heritage Eau de Toilette (1992) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   A decant of Heritage Eau de Toilette sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Lavender and Aldehydes — bright and immediately recognizable. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   Everyone keeps talking about Heritage Eau de Toilette, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Sandalwood and Amber come through and give it real depth. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   Everyone keeps talking about Heritage Eau de Toilette, so I finally gave it a proper test. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Aldehydes — it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Heritage Eau de Toilette (1992) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Patchouli with Coriander comes forward — smooth and well done. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Aldehydes, fresh and very easy to wear. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Heritage Eau de Toilette. The heart is the best part for me: Patchouli and Coriander feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Aldehydes impression that dries down smoothly. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.
