   Guerlain knows how to compose, and Idylle Eau de toilette (2010) is proof. The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Lilac feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Lily-of-the-Valley with Lilac comes forward — smooth and well done. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I’ve been wearing Idylle Eau de toilette on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Lilac feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Lily-of-the-Valley with Lilac comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Lilac, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Lily-of-the-Valley and Lilac feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Lilac, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
