   My first Guerlain experience was this one, Mitsouko Extract (1919). The heart is the best part for me: Peach and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peach with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Jasmine impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Mitsouko Extract more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Jasmine, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Spices and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Mitsouko Extract, so I finally gave it a proper test. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peach with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Bergamot and Jasmine — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I wanted to like it more than I did.
