   I have owned Vol de Nuit for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Iris with Narcissus comes forward — smooth and well done. The opening is built around Galbanum and Narcissus — bright and immediately recognizable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A couple of wears in, Vol de Nuit has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Galbanum/Narcissus impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Orris Root and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Vol de Nuit. The very first sniff is crisp Galbanum with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Narcissus, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The very first sniff is crisp Galbanum with Narcissus peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I wanted to like it more than I did.

Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

That first spray gives a lovely Galbanum/Narcissus impression that dries down smoothly. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. I would happily buy a full bottle.

As it settles, Oakmoss and Orris Root come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

That first spray gives a lovely Galbanum/Narcissus impression that dries down smoothly. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. The composition is well made but not for me.
