   Picked up a sample of Guess Man after reading the community buzz (2006). Right away I get mostly Wormwood, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Wormwood — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I have owned Guess Man for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Wormwood, fresh and very easy to wear. The opening is built around Wormwood — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Guess Man for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Wormwood, very much my kind of start. Right away I get mostly Wormwood, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   I picked up Guess Man (2006) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As it settles, Fir and Musk come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Wormwood, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Guess knows how to compose, and Guess Man (2006) is proof. The drydown leans on Fir plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Wormwood impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   A decant of Guess Man sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The heart is the best part for me: Lavender and White Pepper feel carefully balanced. The opening is built around Wormwood — bright and immediately recognizable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I wanted to like it more than I did.
