   My first Halloween experience was this one, Halloween Blue Drop (2012). The base rests on Musk and Spices — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Citruses with Green Apple peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2012 release, Halloween Blue Drop deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Musk and Spices — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Musk plus Spices and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I picked up Halloween Blue Drop (2012) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Citruses with a hint of Green Apple — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Flowers with Violet, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

The first minutes are all about Citruses with a hint of Green Apple — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Citruses alongside Green Apple, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The drydown leans on Musk plus Spices and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.
