   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Halston 1-12. The first minutes are all about Green Notes with a hint of Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. The base rests on Oakmoss and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Halston 1-12 on and off for a few weeks now (1976). The drydown leans on Oakmoss plus Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Halston 1-12 (1976) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Green Notes alongside Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I have owned Halston 1-12 for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. That first spray gives a lovely Green Notes/Lemon impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pine Tree Needles with Lavender, which is where the fragrance really shines. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   For a 1976 release, Halston 1-12 deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Oakmoss and Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Oakmoss and Cedar come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   Picked up a sample of Halston 1-12 after reading the community buzz (1976). The opening is built around Green Notes and Lemon — bright and immediately recognizable. The very first sniff is crisp Green Notes with Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
