   A couple of wears in, Twilly d’Hermès Eau Ginger has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Candied Ginger with Ginger, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Candied Ginger and Ginger feel carefully balanced. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I have owned Twilly d’Hermès Eau Ginger for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Peony, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Peony — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Hermès knows how to compose, and Twilly d’Hermès Eau Ginger (2021) is proof. The base rests on Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Cedar come through and give it real depth. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Picked up a sample of Twilly d’Hermès Eau Ginger after reading the community buzz (2021). The drydown leans on Cedar and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Peony — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. The composition is well made but not for me.

Give it a little time and Candied Ginger with Ginger comes forward — smooth and well done. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I would happily buy a full bottle.

That first spray gives a lovely Peony impression that dries down smoothly. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
