   I keep reaching for Voyage d’Hermes more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Woodsy Notes plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The very first sniff is crisp Cardamom with Amalfi Lemon peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2010 release, Voyage d’Hermes deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Woodsy Notes and Musk come through and give it real depth. Right away I get mostly Cardamom alongside Amalfi Lemon, fresh and very easy to wear. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The heart is the best part for me: Tea and Green Notes feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

The base rests on Woodsy Notes and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The first minutes are all about Cardamom with a hint of Amalfi Lemon — it grabs attention without being pushy. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tea with Green Notes, which is where the fragrance really shines. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
