   I keep reaching for 1804 more than I expected to. The base rests on Patchouli and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   A decant of 1804 sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Patchouli and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing 1804 on and off for a few weeks now (2001). The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Peach — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Peach impression that dries down smoothly. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   Everyone keeps talking about 1804, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Peach peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Peach impression that dries down smoothly. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Peach, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   I have owned 1804 for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Pineapple and Peach — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Nutmeg with Cloves, which is where the fragrance really shines. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
