A decant of Chantilly sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. Right away I get mostly Lemon alongside Neroli, fresh and very easy to wear. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spices with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A couple of wears in, Chantilly has really grown on me. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spices with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. I wanted to like it more than I did.

I picked up Chantilly (1941) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Lemon with Neroli peeking through, very much my kind of start. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

A friend passed me a decant of Chantilly (1941) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spices with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. That first spray gives a lovely Lemon/Neroli impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

I’ve been wearing Chantilly on and off for a few weeks now (1941). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Spices with Carnation, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Spices and Carnation feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Picked up a sample of Chantilly after reading the community buzz (1941). As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Everyone keeps talking about Chantilly, so I finally gave it a proper test. As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

I keep reaching for Chantilly more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Spices with Carnation comes forward β€” smooth and well done. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla β€” warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.
