   My first Initio Parfums Prives experience was this one, Atomic Rose (2019). That first spray gives a lovely Pink Pepper/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Pink Pepper alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   For a 2019 release, Atomic Rose deserves more attention than it gets. Give it a little time and Bulgarian Rose with Turkish Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Madagascar Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I keep reaching for Atomic Rose more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Bulgarian Rose with Turkish Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Pink Pepper and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Atomic Rose on and off for a few weeks now (2019). The drydown leans on Madagascar Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Bulgarian Rose with Turkish Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Atomic Rose. The base rests on Madagascar Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The drydown leans on Madagascar Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I would happily buy a full bottle.
