   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Fleur Nocturne. As it settles, Vanille and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. The first minutes are all about Peach with a hint of Apricot Blossom — it grabs attention without being pushy. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I keep reaching for Fleur Nocturne more than I expected to. Give it a little time and Gardenia with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Gardenia with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Isabey knows how to compose, and Fleur Nocturne (2009) is proof. As it settles, Vanille and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. The drydown leans on Vanille plus Patchouli and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2009 release, Fleur Nocturne deserves more attention than it gets. The heart is the best part for me: Gardenia and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Gardenia with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A couple of wears in, Fleur Nocturne has really grown on me. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Apricot Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Apricot Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A friend passed me a decant of Fleur Nocturne (2009) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Peach alongside Apricot Blossom, fresh and very easy to wear. That first spray gives a lovely Peach/Apricot Blossom impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I wanted to like it more than I did.
