   A couple of wears in, Jaguar Classic has really grown on me. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, White Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   A decant of Jaguar Classic sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ginger with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Sandalwood and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   I’ve been wearing Jaguar Classic on and off for a few weeks now (2002). The very first sniff is crisp Star Anise with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Ginger with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Jaguar Classic. The very first sniff is crisp Star Anise with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. Give it a little time and Ginger with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
