   I have owned Coccobello for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The first minutes are all about Palm Leaf with a hint of Gardenia — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Palm Leaf with Gardenia peeking through, very much my kind of start. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Coccobello on and off for a few weeks now (2013). That first spray gives a lovely Palm Leaf/Gardenia impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Palm Leaf with a hint of Gardenia — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   Picked up a sample of Coccobello after reading the community buzz (2013). The base rests on Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar come through and give it real depth. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   Everyone keeps talking about Coccobello, so I finally gave it a proper test. The base rests on Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Coconut with Sea Salt, which is where the fragrance really shines. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

   My first James Heeley experience was this one, Coccobello (2013). As it settles, Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.
