   A couple of wears in, Note de Yuzu has really grown on me. Right away I get mostly Yuzu alongside Grapefruit, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Yuzu with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Note de Yuzu after reading the community buzz (2017). That first spray gives a lovely Yuzu/Grapefruit impression that dries down smoothly. The opening is built around Yuzu and Grapefruit — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Note de Yuzu. Give it a little time and Sea Salt with Seaweed comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Yuzu with Grapefruit peeking through, very much my kind of start. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.

   Everyone keeps talking about Note de Yuzu, so I finally gave it a proper test. The drydown leans on White Musk plus Haitian Vetiver and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. The first minutes are all about Yuzu with a hint of Grapefruit — it grabs attention without being pushy. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
