   I have owned Sun Men for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The very first sniff is crisp Bergamot with Rosemary peeking through, very much my kind of start. The opening is built around Bergamot and Rosemary — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I keep reaching for Sun Men more than I expected to. The opening is built around Bergamot and Rosemary — bright and immediately recognizable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cardamom with Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   My first Jil Sander experience was this one, Sun Men (2002). As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The base rests on Musk and Sandalwood — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   A friend passed me a decant of Sun Men (2002) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Rosemary, fresh and very easy to wear. Give it a little time and Cardamom with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   A decant of Sun Men sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. That first spray gives a lovely Bergamot/Rosemary impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Right away I get mostly Bergamot alongside Rosemary, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cardamom with Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.
