   My first Jimmy Choo experience was this one, Jimmy Choo (2011). The base rests on Toffee and Patchouli — warm, grounded and easy to live with. As it settles, Toffee and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   For a 2011 release, Jimmy Choo deserves more attention than it gets. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Orchid, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Orchid feel carefully balanced. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

As it settles, Toffee and Patchouli come through and give it real depth. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.
