   Everyone keeps talking about Nightflight, so I finally gave it a proper test. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. That first spray gives a lovely Pineapple/Lavender impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   I’ve been wearing Nightflight on and off for a few weeks now (1992). The first minutes are all about Pineapple with a hint of Lavender — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: Jasmine and Lily-of-the-Valley feel carefully balanced. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   A friend passed me a decant of Nightflight (1992) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Right away I get mostly Pineapple alongside Lavender, fresh and very easy to wear.    I’ve been wearing Nightflight on and off for a few weeks now (1992). The base rests on Tonka Bean and Almond — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Pineapple with Lavender peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The drydown leans on Tonka Bean plus Almond and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
