   A decant of Couture La La sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Green Apple with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. That first spray gives a lovely Green Apple/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   My first Juicy Couture experience was this one, Couture La La (2012). The very first sniff is crisp Green Apple with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lily-of-the-Valley with Orange Blossom, which is where the fragrance really shines. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I keep reaching for Couture La La more than I expected to. The drydown leans on Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Musk come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

Give it a little time and Lily-of-the-Valley with Orange Blossom comes forward — smooth and well done. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.
