   A decant of Girlfriend sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The base rests on Vanilla Orchid and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The opening is built around Blackberry and Big Strawberry — bright and immediately recognizable. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I keep reaching for Girlfriend more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apricot with Pink Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. Right away I get mostly Blackberry alongside Big Strawberry, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 2012 release, Girlfriend deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Vanilla Orchid and Musk — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Blackberry with Big Strawberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   For a 2012 release, Girlfriend deserves more attention than it gets. That first spray gives a lovely Blackberry/Big Strawberry impression that dries down smoothly. Give it a little time and Apricot with Pink Freesia comes forward — smooth and well done. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   A friend passed me a decant of Girlfriend (2012) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The first minutes are all about Blackberry with a hint of Big Strawberry — it grabs attention without being pushy. Right away I get mostly Blackberry alongside Big Strawberry, fresh and very easy to wear. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   I’ve been wearing Girlfriend on and off for a few weeks now (2012). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Apricot with Pink Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Apricot and Pink Freesia feel carefully balanced. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.
