I picked up Jeu d’Amour (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. That first spray gives a lovely Pomegranate/Blood Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Freesia feel carefully balanced. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

I picked up Jeu d’Amour (2014) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Pomegranate alongside Blood Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

For a 2014 release, Jeu d’Amour deserves more attention than it gets. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Freesia comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I’ve been wearing Jeu d’Amour on and off for a few weeks now (2014). The opening is built around Pomegranate and Blood Mandarin β€” bright and immediately recognizable. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Freesia comes forward β€” smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

For a 2014 release, Jeu d’Amour deserves more attention than it gets. The very first sniff is crisp Pomegranate with Blood Mandarin peeking through, very much my kind of start. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Freesia, which is where the fragrance really shines. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A friend passed me a decant of Jeu d’Amour (2014) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The opening is built around Pomegranate and Blood Mandarin β€” bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Pomegranate/Blood Mandarin impression that dries down smoothly. Longevity is moderate and the trail is noticeable without being loud. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Everyone keeps talking about Jeu d’Amour, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Freesia feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Pomegranate alongside Blood Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

I keep reaching for Jeu d’Amour more than I expected to. Right away I get mostly Pomegranate alongside Blood Mandarin, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Well done β€” recommended if the notes appeal to you.

My first Kenzo experience was this one, Jeu d’Amour (2014). The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Freesia feel carefully balanced. The first minutes are all about Pomegranate with a hint of Blood Mandarin β€” it grabs attention without being pushy. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.
