   Kenzo knows how to compose, and Jeu d’Amour l’Elixir (2016) is proof. The base rests on Caramel and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Jeu d’Amour l’Elixir (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. That first spray gives a lovely Blackberry/Mandarin Orange impression that dries down smoothly. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   Picked up a sample of Jeu d’Amour l’Elixir after reading the community buzz (2016). Give it a little time and Tuberose with Jasmine comes forward — smooth and well done. The very first sniff is crisp Blackberry with Mandarin Orange peeking through, very much my kind of start. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.

   I picked up Jeu d’Amour l’Elixir (2016) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first minutes are all about Blackberry with a hint of Mandarin Orange — it grabs attention without being pushy. The opening is built around Blackberry and Mandarin Orange — bright and immediately recognizable. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. I would happily buy a full bottle.

   A friend passed me a decant of Jeu d’Amour l’Elixir (2016) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Tuberose and Jasmine feel carefully balanced. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Tuberose with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
