   Picked up a sample of Red after reading the community buzz (2004). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pine Tree, which is where the fragrance really shines. Give it a little time and Pine Tree comes forward — smooth and well done. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   A couple of wears in, Red has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Green Apple — it grabs attention without being pushy. Give it a little time and Pine Tree comes forward — smooth and well done. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Red. That first spray gives a lovely Green Apple impression that dries down smoothly. The heart is the best part for me: Pine Tree feel carefully balanced. It lasts through a full workday on me, which is exactly what I want. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Red (2004) and I wasn’t prepared for it. That first spray gives a lovely Green Apple impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Patchouli and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It is not the loudest scent I own, but the balance suits it well. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I have owned Red for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Give it a little time and Pine Tree comes forward — smooth and well done. The base rests on Patchouli and Vetiver — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.
