   A decant of Lalique sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The opening is built around Jasmine and Iris — bright and immediately recognizable. That first spray gives a lovely Jasmine/Iris impression that dries down smoothly. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus White Musk and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Lalique for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. Right away I get mostly Jasmine alongside Iris, fresh and very easy to wear. The heart is the best part for me: Pear and Blackberry feel carefully balanced. Two sprays are enough — it carries well without shouting. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Picked up a sample of Lalique after reading the community buzz (1992). As it settles, Sandalwood and White Musk come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Jasmine with Iris peeking through, very much my kind of start. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Pear with Blackberry, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
