   Picked up a sample of Climat Parfum Extrait after reading the community buzz (1967). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Aldehydes with Narcissus, which is where the fragrance really shines. The heart is the best part for me: Aldehydes and Narcissus feel carefully balanced. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   A friend passed me a decant of Climat Parfum Extrait (1967) and I wasn’t prepared for it. The heart is the best part for me: Aldehydes and Narcissus feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Aldehydes with Narcissus comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.
