Everyone keeps talking about O d’Azur, so I finally gave it a proper test. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Rose feel carefully balanced. That first spray gives a lovely Amalfi Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. I would happily buy a full bottle.

I keep reaching for O d’Azur more than I expected to. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The very first sniff is crisp Amalfi Lemon with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. In cooler weather it sits closer to the skin, which I actually prefer here. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

A friend passed me a decant of O d’Azur (2010) and I wasn’t prepared for it. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Peony with Rose, which is where the fragrance really shines. The opening is built around Amalfi Lemon and Bergamot — bright and immediately recognizable. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

Lancôme knows how to compose, and O d’Azur (2010) is proof. Give it a little time and Peony with Rose comes forward — smooth and well done. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

I’ve been wearing O d’Azur on and off for a few weeks now (2010). The base rests on Musk and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The first minutes are all about Amalfi Lemon with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about O d’Azur. The drydown leans on Musk plus Woodsy Notes and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. Right away I get mostly Amalfi Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

My first Lancôme experience was this one, O d’Azur (2010). That first spray gives a lovely Amalfi Lemon/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Amalfi Lemon alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

I picked up O d’Azur (2010) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The base rests on Musk and Woodsy Notes — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The heart is the best part for me: Peony and Rose feel carefully balanced. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

Lancôme knows how to compose, and O d’Azur (2010) is proof. As it settles, Musk and Woodsy Notes come through and give it real depth.
