   My first Lanvin experience was this one, Lanvin L’Homme (1997). That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Bergamot impression that dries down smoothly. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.

   I picked up Lanvin L’Homme (1997) mostly on a whim, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Bergamot, fresh and very easy to wear. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   I have owned Lanvin L’Homme for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Mint and Sage feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Mint with Sage comes forward — smooth and well done. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. I would happily buy a full bottle.

The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Bergamot — it grabs attention without being pushy. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

   For a 1997 release, Lanvin L’Homme deserves more attention than it gets. As it settles, Musk and Sandalwood come through and give it real depth. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Bergamot peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. Pleasant, though I would not call it essential.
