   A couple of wears in, Affection has really grown on me. The first minutes are all about Pistachio with a hint of Hazelnut — it grabs attention without being pushy. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Lactones with Jasmine, which is where the fragrance really shines. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Well done — recommended if the notes appeal to you.

   A decant of Affection sat in my box for weeks before I finally wore it. The first minutes are all about Pistachio with a hint of Hazelnut — it grabs attention without being pushy. The very first sniff is crisp Pistachio with Hazelnut peeking through, very much my kind of start. Performance is consistent: comfortable sillage and several hours of wear on my skin. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

   I needed a full wearing before I made my mind up about Affection. That first spray gives a lovely Pistachio/Hazelnut impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Lactones and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

The very first sniff is crisp Pistachio with Hazelnut peeking through, very much my kind of start. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Affection (2024). The drydown leans on Lactones plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. As it settles, Lactones and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.
