   I keep reaching for Asad Bourbon more than I expected to. That first spray gives a lovely Lavender/Mirabelle impression that dries down smoothly. The drydown leans on Bourbon Vanilla plus Amber and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

   I’ve been wearing Asad Bourbon on and off for a few weeks now (2025). After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Cacao with Nutmeg, which is where the fragrance really shines. The first minutes are all about Lavender with a hint of Mirabelle — it grabs attention without being pushy. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. This has earned a permanent spot in my rotation.

   I have owned Asad Bourbon for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The heart is the best part for me: Cacao and Nutmeg feel carefully balanced. Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Mirabelle, fresh and very easy to wear. I get about four to six hours before it turns into a skin scent. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

Give it a little time and Cacao with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. I reach for it often and always enjoy the wear.

   For a 2025 release, Asad Bourbon deserves more attention than it gets. The base rests on Bourbon Vanilla and Amber — warm, grounded and easy to live with. The very first sniff is crisp Lavender with Mirabelle peeking through, very much my kind of start. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. I can see its quality, but it simply is not my style.

Give it a little time and Cacao with Nutmeg comes forward — smooth and well done. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. I can see this getting a lot of wear in my collection.

Right away I get mostly Lavender alongside Mirabelle, fresh and very easy to wear. It wears beautifully in the office; I can still catch it on my scarf at the end of the day. A solid addition for anyone who enjoys this style.

I enjoy it when I wear it, yet I rarely think of reaching for it.
