   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Liam (2023). The drydown leans on Sandalwood plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into Iris with Vetiver, which is where the fragrance really shines. The trail is there if someone steps close, not across the room. It is fine, but it does not stand out in my collection.

   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Liam (2023). The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. Give it a little time and Iris with Vetiver comes forward — smooth and well done. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

   I’ve been wearing Liam on and off for a few weeks now (2023). The heart is the best part for me: Iris and Vetiver feel carefully balanced. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Worth sampling before committing to a bottle.

As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. It projects politely for a couple of hours, then stays close and cosy. The composition is well made but not for me.

   Lattafa Perfumes knows how to compose, and Liam (2023) is proof. That first spray gives a lovely Cardamom/Black Tea impression that dries down smoothly. The base rests on Sandalwood and Vanilla — warm, grounded and easy to live with. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

The opening is built around Cardamom and Black Tea — bright and immediately recognizable. After a few hours it becomes a soft skin scent with a lovely trail. Sadly this one does not work on my skin.

As it settles, Sandalwood and Vanilla come through and give it real depth. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
