   I have owned Mayar for a while now and my opinion has only gotten stronger. The opening is built around Litchi and Raspberry — bright and immediately recognizable. The drydown leans on Musk plus Vanilla and that is exactly where it feels most comfortable. On my skin the performance is reliable, not a beast but far from weak. I wanted to like it more than I did.

   My first Lattafa Perfumes experience was this one, Mayar (2022). That first spray gives a lovely Litchi/Raspberry impression that dries down smoothly. Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. A very likeable composition that is easy to appreciate.

   Everyone keeps talking about Mayar, so I finally gave it a proper test. That first spray gives a lovely Litchi/Raspberry impression that dries down smoothly. After about twenty minutes the heart settles into White Rose with Peony, which is where the fragrance really shines. The drydown lingers pleasantly, and I do not need to reapply at lunch. This one gets my highest praise — beautiful from start to finish.

   For a 2022 release, Mayar deserves more attention than it gets. The first minutes are all about Litchi with a hint of Raspberry — it grabs attention without being pushy. The heart is the best part for me: White Rose and Peony feel carefully balanced. It performs better in warmer weather — in the heat it opens up nicely. The composition is well made but not for me.

Right away I get mostly Litchi alongside Raspberry, fresh and very easy to wear. Projection stays close for the first hour, then becomes a soft, pleasant aura. Full-bottle worthy without a doubt.

The very first sniff is crisp Litchi with Raspberry peeking through, very much my kind of start. Three sprays last me most of the day without ever becoming cloying. Easily one of my favourite finds this season.
